When I got my Accord, most of the interior lights were out. I went on eBay and bought some generic replacements, took all the old bulbs out and threw them out. Forgot about it, tried them a while later and I couldn’t get any of them to work, I’ve tried again a couple times and still no dice . Am I missing something? I feel like I’m forgetting something and making a simple job more frustrating.

Are your replacements LEDs? LEDs are polar.

W
hat he means by this, if you didn’t understand, is that LED interior bulbs
only work when
installed one way most of the time, so if they don’t work, try taking the bulb out
and flipping it the other way around :)

My experience with LED lights and vehicles. Same concept applies.

First check if it’s polarized then if it’s not that, it can be that the circuit require more resistance as newer cars can have circuits that checks if the bulb is fried or a cable is in bad shape to stop sending electricity if something seems wrong but are not always compatible with LEDs.
In my A3 that is older than this kind of circuits, i have changed most of my bulbs with LEDs but switching the one for the rear passenger(s) has been problematic, having sometimes the whole interior blinking with a relay clicking, i had this issue with two different (cheap) LEDs so i put back a bulb and have not had an issue since .
There is also in certain case the LEDs that are not fitting correctly and either exposed electrical circuit on the led can touch a metal part, sometimes simply not fitting at all or not making the electrical contacts correctly.
If nothing lights up you might also have fried a fuse either when installing them or with one of the LEDs being faulty.

Yeah flip them around and check the fuses.

Is there an interior lighting fuse that’s burned out?

True fax: USB plugs exist in four dimensions.

Yes, that's it! Thank you for translating.

Yes, they are

I’ve tried that, I think a fuse might be out

I think that’s the ticket

Damn, hopefully that’s all it is!

No problem! :)

Me too, I got a tester and more fuses so I just need to get a puller and take a look at it.

Does your fuse
box not come with a puller? My Accent came with a puller in the engine bay fuse box! :D

On on the inside box, I’ll check the engine bay one I forgot about that one lol

Use a volt- meter or a test light on the bulb socket. This will tell you if you have power. If you do, it’s a bulb issue. If you don’t find out why you’re not getting power.

If there was one, it isn’t in the car now. I just checked.
